Kandie Hale awarded the 2026 Stepping Forward Together Award
June 1, 2026: We’re thrilled to share that Kandie Hale was awarded the 2026 Stepping Forward Together Award during our 16th Annual TESF Golf Classic banquet dinner. This honor recognizes those who go above and beyond for our mission.
Kandie has been part of TESF since 2013. She first came to us through hockey, founding Hockey Moms Against Injury and rallying support for the Look-Up Line, an innovation that has since been installed in rinks across the country to reduce catastrophic head and neck injuries in hockey.
That advocacy grew into a Director’s role on our board and a liaison to the Boston Bruins Foundation and the Bruins Alumni Association, where she has helped those partnerships grow stronger year after year. Today she carries that same commitment into her work with the Wounded Warrior Project.
“Kandie has been part of this Foundation through every stage of its growth, and she has never once waited to be asked,” said TESF Executive Director & COO Sarah Merrefield. “She leads with advocacy, generosity, and a steady optimism that has shaped who we are.”
Kandie exemplifies the spirit of community and collaboration that drives our mission. Join us in celebrating her dedication as this year’s Stepping Forward Together honoree.
