TESF + MBF team up for Austin Tennison

May 2024: We are thrilled to share that we recently teamed up with our good friend Matt Brown and his foundation to purchase a new accessible van for our latest grant recipient, Austin Tennison.

Austin was born with cerebral palsy and is dependent on an accessible van for his transportation needs. He attends intensive physical therapy four days a week, and is very active in his local community. Earlier we received a call from Austin, only to learn that his van had recently been totaled. After meeting with him and his family, it was clear that we needed to take action to help restore Austin’s access to transportation as soon as possible.

Given the cost, we partnered with Matt Brown Foundation to contribute just over $16,500 towards purchasing a new van for Austin. With this purchase, we are happy to report that Austin has now returned to his daily routine of park visits, physical therapy, and downtown outings with family and friends.

We are grateful for the continued support of our donors towards our mission to better the lives of those living with paralysis. Thank you!
